About Junior Hockey
Wanderers’ junior hockey has built a strong reputation over many years, of offering professional coaching in a safe, fun environment for players.
Junior hockey spaces will again be limited (dependent on session numbers), in order for us to manage the use of the astroturf and the allocation of coaches. Players that played last year will be given preference, then their siblings and thereafter on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
As usual, the highlights of the season will no doubt be the tournaments, which the kids always enjoy. Our own Wanderers tournament should again be special, with there likely to be more than 1,000 players attending like last year.

All junior hockey players must be junior members of the main Wanderers club. Membership offers use of the Main Club and other privileges.
Hockey levy covers coaching fees, equipment, tournament fees and usage of the Astro.
We do enter Friday Night League, indoor and 5’s teams throughout the year in the different leagues and those costs are separate and depend on the league fees per team.
Colts and Senior Hockey
We will be holding trials for players wanting to play Colts and Senior Hockey.
The Club uses TeamApp as its communication tool during the season which can be found on the App Store and the Google Play Store.
TeamApp also allows for web access, using the below link, should you prefer to not install the App.
Each age group will have a parent manager. They will keep parents informed via WhatsApp.
Code of conduct
Please note that we will be publishing a player’s code of conduct (in simple form), which members of mini hockey will be expected to comply with. This will be available before the season starts.
Please remember it is club policy that no dogs, bicycles, own alcohol allowed at the Astro.
