Cricket is Back!
We remain one of the few provinces in the country that has permitted competitive cricket to take place. All our senior league teams, men’s and women’s, have been playing throughout the month of March. In addition, our junior section has been active, growing its numbers and providing games on Saturday mornings against other approved clubs.
Wanderers in Cape Town
An over 45’s team made up of current Wanderers members and some that have represented the club in the past took park in the Vintage Golden Oldies festival at Claremont Cricket Club in Constantia.
A tough schedule saw the team playing 4 games in 3 days. Despite some aches and pains, the team managed a credible performance winning 2 and losing 2 tight games.
