The Wanderers Rugby Club Present – Junior Rugby Holiday Clinic

Venue: The Wanderers rugby club opposite Wanderers cricket grounds Illovo

Dates: 26 to 29 June 2018

Times: 09:00 to 13:00

Coaches: Attend free (pre-booking essential due to limited numbers) – we aim to add value and learn from all coaches

Age Groups: U8 to U13 (Girls and Boys) limited space available

Costs: R1000/player for the 4 days

Booking: Pre-Booking is essential limited space by age group

What to bring: Gum guard, protective clothing, snacks, suntan lotion, rugby shorts and jersey, some money for food and drinks, good attitude.

    • Potentially, Philip or Chris Lemmer – (Lions Forward coach and SA wrestling coach respectively)




  • Wrestling for rugby
    • Position Specific coaching
      • Props – scrumming technique and core strength
      • Hookers – scrumming technique and core strength, lineouts
      • Locks – speed and agility and explosive power
      • Loose forward – rucking, breakdown specifics

  • The ShadowBall Academy will showcase the Nashua Rugby Skills Project and present the Pass Booster Programme to the players and parents
