Meanwhile, current Squash Club Chairman, Chris Hughes, met up in Hull, England, with the past chairman, Dave Grant, to take part in the Allam British Open Karakal Masters Squash Championships 2019. In between matches there were opportunities to watch the PSA players taking part in the British Open at the same venue, including Alexandra Fuller of South Africa. It was an exciting week, having the opportunity to meet old acquaintances including Mike Barnard (a previous member of Wanderers) and Karen Schultz, who went on to win the 40-44 age group in the Masters tournament.
