On Friday the 4th of October the Rugby Section held our year-end function and prize giving. For the first time since 1993, we are proud to say we have our first National player Dudlee White Sharply 5 National Caps for Zimbabwe. The Wanderer’s First Team will be playing in the prestige club Gold Cup.  The ladies team had five Bull Bulls and two Golden Lions provincial players. Under the leadership of Rugby renown head coach Neil Kalify the rugby section hope to be an unstoppable entity in Johannesburg in 2020. Wanderers Rugby Club is the oldest club in Johannesburg 132 years of a proud legacy.
