MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES DETAIL
ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP
Being an ordinary member, you will have access to the Club’s sporting, social and other facilities in line with the Club’s constitution. You will have access to the sporting codes you have selected to join. Access is limited to the sporting codes to which you have enrolled into. The membership fees billed to an ordinary membership will only cover the Main Club subscriptions and will exclude Sub-Club levies and any sporting body affiliation fees. You can utilize and access the Club and sporting facilities of your nominated sports during all operating hours applicable to that sporting code and in line with the Club’s operating hours. The sporting facility can only be used for the sport to which you signed up for and will not allow you full access of the facility if more than one sport should be carried out at the facility. You will have access to booking facilities linked to your elected sports.
ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP - PRESTIGE MEMBER
Being a Prestige member, you will have access to the Club’s sporting, social and other facilities in line with the Clubs’ constitution. You will have access to all sporting codes. The membership fees billed to a prestige member will cover the Main Club subscriptions as well as the sporting code levies, it will not include sub-club levy fees for owner run Sub-Clubs or any sporting body affiliation fees. You can utilize and access all the Club and sporting facilities during all operating hours applicable to that sporting code and in line with the Club’s operating hours. Full access to all booking facilities will be made available to you and you can participate in all team sports and be eligible for team selection in line with the sporting codes selection criteria.
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
Being a Junior member, you will have access to the Club’s sporting, social and other facilities in line with the Club’s constitution. Junior members will get access to all the sporting codes. The membership fees billed to a junior member will cover the Main Club subscriptions as well as the Sub-Club levies, it will exclude any sporting body affiliation fees. Junior members can utilize and access all the Club’s sporting facilities during the operating hours applicable to that sporting code and in line with the Club’s operating hours. You can participate in all team sports and be eligible for team selection in line with the sporting codes selection criteria.
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
ORDINARY FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
This package allows for a maximum of two parents, spouses, or partners and two children under the age of 18. The main member will be charged a Main Club levy and levies for each Sub-Club will be charged per family member based on their sports selected
PRESTIGE OPTION
This package allows for a maximum of two parents, spouses, or partners and two children under the age of 25. The main member will be charged a Main Club subscription, no Sub- Club levies will be charged.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
You are required to sign up for a minimum of 12 months of membership and your fees are payable monthly via debit order. Cash payments will only be accepted for members who are settling their accounts in full upfront. The monthly membership fees for ordinary members will include Main Club subscription and selected Sub-Club levies. Your membership will automatically renew at the end of the 12-month period. Should you wish to cancel your membership you are to notify the Club in writing one month prior to the end of your 12-month membership term.

Should you terminate this Agreement prior to the expiry of the Fixed Term (or any renewal period), you will be responsible for all amounts owing to the Club up until the date of termination and the Club will be entitled to levy a reasonable cancellation penalty limit determined in accordance with the guidelines set out in the CPA and, if applicable, the CPA Regulations.

On the expiry of the Fixed Term, this Agreement will automatically be continued on a month- to-month basis, (subject to any changes of which the Club will have given you notice as is required under the CPA) unless you expressly tell us to terminate this Agreement on the 6 expiry of the Fixed Term or you agree to a renewal of this Agreement for a further Fixed Term.

Access to the Club will be denied when subscriptions falls 30 days in arrears. The onus lies with the member to resolve any queries and to make all payments due on time.
COOLING OFF
You have the right to terminate your membership, which must be exercised by notice in writing from you to the Club given and received within 5 (five) Business Days after the Signature Date. If you exercise the right of termination, this Agreement will automatically be terminated, and you will be refunded any payment we received from you within 15 (fifteen) Business Days after your notice of termination is received by us.

By signing this document, you consent to The Wanderers Club collecting and storing certain personal information from you. The Club complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI) regarding the collection, use and storage of your personal information. We will use your personal information to send you the Club’s weekly newsletter, which has an option for you to unsubscribe. Parents must consent to a junior joining the Club and providing the required personal information on the minor.

We are committed to protecting your personal information from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction in line with the Privacy Policy (available on our website at www.wanderersclub.co.za), and to not use it for any other purpose other than the performance of the membership agreement unless otherwise required by law. If it becomes necessary to share personal information with a third party for conducting business for this specific purpose, we will ensure that the third party is contractually bound to keep the personal information it receives confidential and to put in place appropriate security measures to keep it secure.

If this application is for a child under the age of 18, the parent or legal guardian who signs the application for the child consents to us processing the child’s personal information according to our Privacy Policy for the purposes of the performance of the membership agreement. We will not further process the personal information of the child without the parent or legal guardian’s express consent.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You agree that this signed application for membership is a distinct acknowledgement on your part that you are bound by the Constitution and Rules, Regulations and By-laws of the Wanderers Club and Sub-Clubs, which are now in force, or which may be in force in the future. You agree to accept the rulings of the Committee in all cases. You acknowledge that you will not be absolved from the effect of any of the Constitution and Rules, Regulations and By-laws of the Wanderers Club and Sub-clubs on the grounds of not having received a copy of any of them.

You acknowledge that the Club cannot be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to your property or possessions arising out of theft or any other cause, or for any personal injury sustained.
