NATIONAL GYM GAMES 2017
Wanderers gymnasts excelled this year with more than 30 of our best boys and girls achieving full provincial colours for representing Gauteng at the National Gym Games held from 4 – 7 October 2017.
The Games took place at the South African Gymnastics Federation’s national training centre, Matsport Centre, in Eldoraigne.
All our gymnasts performed well and made us proud with special mention going to:-
Men
– Daniel Appleton (Level 6, 12-13 years)

o Gold medals: Pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and horizontal Bar
o Bronze medals: Floor exercise

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
Now that all the South African competitions are behind us for 2017 it is time, once again, to look inward to our next Club Champion.
We are pleased to inform everyone that we are holding our Club Championships on 17-18 November, at The Wanderers Club, and we are looking forward to crowning our women’s Novice and Open champions and men’s Junior and Open champions for 2017.
Please be certain to enter before the closing date of 28 October 2017.
BADGE GRADING
Our final grading for 2017 will take place on Sunday, 19 November, at The Wanderers Club.
Invitations will be extended to all the young boys and girls who are ready to be graded. We welcome the family and supports of the gymnasts to come and enjoy the day.
WANDERERS GYMNASTICS
