The Wanderers Club in Illovo, Johannesburg, combines its tradition of 130 years with current day facilities to suit all needs. The Club is able to host any function ranging from corporate events to personal functions. It is popular for business conferences, seminars, team building, training sessions, auctions and exhibitions as well as private gala dinners, cocktail parties, weddings, matric farewells, birthday parties and bar mitzvahs.
SilvaSale Events and Catering is our experienced service provider which manages the Food and Beverage services on behalf of the Club. The SilvaSale dedicated event coordinators can provide the expertise from start to end, replying to enquiries, showing you the venues, booking your function and tailoring creative packages to cater to your specific requirements. Our facilities include refurbished rooms able to accommodate any number of people and include modern AV equipment, wi-fi access, teleconferencing facilities, inspiring menus, brain food and uninterrupted power and water supply to prevent any disruptions. We pride ourselves in our high standards and professional service and will make everything possible to provide you with excellence in every aspect.
There is an exciting offering added to our 13 existing venues situated in the historic Clubhouse. A large and versatile deck and marquee, named The Deck @ Wanderers, has recently been erected between the Rugby fields on Corlett Drive by Circa Events with the capacity to accommodate larger types of functions and exhibitions. Versatility is the key word as this venue can be set up in any configuration and is not limited by fixed walls. Circa Events works in conjunction with SilvaSale Events and Catering to organise and cater for larger functions in this magnificent venue.
