Our national men’s and women’s players will have the opportunity to test themselves against the very best in the world of hockey, on home soil. With FIH Hero World Ranking points on offer, it becomes a pivotal event on the hockey calendar for teams wanting to qualify for the 2018 Hockey World Cups and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. 20 of the world’s best men’s and women’s national teams will take part in these Hockey World Cup 2018 qualifiers between 8-23 July at Wits Hockey Club. With 16 days of non-stop world-class hockey, there’s a number of hugely exciting matches for fans to take in.

In the women’s tournament:
Pool A: England, Germany, Japan, Ireland, Poland.
Pool B: Argentina, USA, South Africa, India, Chile.
In the men’s tournament:
Pool A: Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Japan, France. Pool B: Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Ireland, Egypt.
