The last 2 days in June, saw the much anticipated Wanderers Pantum Challenge. Our very first Bowls Tournament! We were blessed with incredible sponsors, and we had our eyes on a much-needed charity to bless. Hundreds of able-bodied people, who have fallen on hard times, needing clothes and food, and, we at the Bowls Club, made a decision to lift our hands. The Burger High School Church in Krugersdorp feeds and distributes many items to the many Squatter Camps in the Region! We made it our aim to collect and purchase as many items of clothing and non-perishable foods as we could!

Our fantastic Sponsors were generous to a fault! The Robust, Tried, Tested and Trusted Range of Pantum Printers, donated monetary prizes for the winners, as well as top of the range printers, for some lucky raffle entry winners. Protea Hotel sponsored a gorgeous night stay, with a full breakfast! Giovanni Batista donated gift hampers, our League Sponsor Plush, donated wonderful cleaning hampers, Pick n Pay donated gift vouchers, Mike Bolel donated much-needed Wood polishing cloths, Kolok donated Volkano Bluetooth Speakers, and some Wanderers Members donated gifts and vouchers., and so much more!

All in all, an incredible range of prizes and gifts for the Winning Teams, as well as, many, lucky Raffle Winners.

And our worthy winners:

Wanderers Bowls gives back – Burger High School Krugersdorp Church

What an awesome privilege to give back! After an exceptional June Pantum Tournament, Wanderers Bowls donated
20 enormous bags of clothing, books, stationery, shoes, linen, cutlery and much more. We purchased boxes of food
to ensure that many, many worthy people ended their days with full stomachs. What an incredible sight, both children and adults smiles, brighter than the sun, radiating their gratitude and heartfelt
thanks for all of the donations!

What an honour and privilege, I bow in humbleness to all of our incredible Members, you truly are family. Thank you!

Until next time, keep Bowling!

roseTons of love
