The Happy Wanderers Night Run – Powered by GTC
Run, eat, drink and laugh at the Happy Wanderers Night Run, the last Wednesday of the Spring and Summer months.
This family event encourages all ages to get out and about in a healthy and fun way. Arrive early to register and enjoy a social moment with friends. The run will commence at 18:30 and be followed by a cold drink or beer. Stay for prize giving and you may win a spot prize. Sweat shop vouchers, four balls at Wanderers Golf Club and many other give-aways are up for grabs.
The route offers a sun-set start, taking off along a flat, scenic and descending jeep track which proves a fast section for the racers and a relaxed warm up for the social and family runners. A steep left-right and two jumps provide technical sections to challenge you and bring some fun to the event. Save some energy for the final kilometre as a hill awaits you, making you work for the glory of a tough finish.
Runners are rewarded with a drink after the run and tasty food available for those in need of a bite.
With the involvement of GTC, there are great prizes on offer to both the competitive runners and spot prizes for the social runners.
The happy Wanderers Night Run has always been a fun event and a great night to split up the week.
Join us for the next run on the 29 November by registering at Entrytime.co.za.
Entries are R80 and include a drink after the run.
